Removal and installation of 12 V battery

Remove

  1. Power off the low-voltage electrical system. Refer to Power-off and power-on of low-voltage electrical system 

  2. Remove the rear seat support plate assembly. Refer to Removal and installation of rear seat support plate assembly 

  3. Remove the positive fuse box I.

  4. Detach part of the floor wiring harness.

    1. Disconnect 1 connector.

    2. Detach 3 wiring harness clips.

    3. Remove 2 fixing bolts.

      • Tightening torque: 13±1 N•m

  5. Remove 4 fixing nuts to take out the 12 V battery.

    • Tightening torque: 10 N•m

Install

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
